Blood and urine tests

To understand more about the cause of symptoms, the course of an illness or the outcome of treatment, the GP may need to have your blood or urine tested.

Blood test

Blood sampling is performed by Atalmedial's laboratory. This is done by appointment only. Please remember to bring a valid ID if you have an appointment. If you have an appointment, you do not need to report in first. You can take a seat directly in the waiting room and will be called automatically. You can make an appointment via:

Urinalysis

Do you suspect a bladder infection? If you have symptoms, contact the practice and have your urine tested. Preferably collect morning urine in a clean container, tightly sealed. Turn this in before 9am. If not, keep the container in the fridge and bring it in within 24 hours. The result is usually known within one day. The results can be viewed online. You can also contact the assistant for more information.

New telephone accessibility

Dear sir or madam,

You may have heard in the news that GP care is increasing and staffing levels are decreasing. As a result, our assistants are very busy. We therefore have to make choices to continue providing good care.

From Tuesday 22 April 2025, we will be otherwise available by phone. You can call us between 08:00 and 12:00 and between 13:00 and 15:00.

Is there urgent? Then you can call us as always between 08:00 and 17:00. Then choose option 1 in the menu.

We hope for your understanding.

Sincerely,
The team at GP practice Randwijck
