To understand more about the cause of symptoms, the course of an illness or the outcome of treatment, the GP may need to have your blood or urine tested.
Blood sampling is performed by Atalmedial's laboratory. This is done by appointment only. Please remember to bring a valid ID if you have an appointment. Do you suspect a bladder infection? If you have symptoms, contact the practice and have your urine tested. Preferably collect morning urine in a clean container, tightly sealed. Turn this in before 9am. If not, keep the container in the fridge and bring it in within 24 hours. The result is usually known within one day. The results can be viewed online. You can also contact the assistant for more information.
