Tailored student care: Your health is in good hands with us!

Are you studying and living in a room? It makes sense to have a GP near your student room. We are a GP practice near Uilenstede, and we focus specifically on students. We understand that student life can be busy, which is why we make it easy for you to take care of your health. With the 'Your Care Online' app you can easily ask questions via an online consultation, view your own medical records and repeat medication. In addition, you can also schedule an appointment with your GP at a time that suits you.

At our centre, we have spent the last few years learning more and more about the types of care students face. These include:

  • Psychological complaints such as anxiety and gloom, difficulty concentrating and overstrain
  • Contraception such as the pill or an IUD
  • Skin complaints such as acne or eczema
  • Sexually transmitted diseases (STD consultation)
  • Use of party drugs and alcohol
  • Lifestyle advice through physiotherapist and/or dietician

Together with our colleagues from the Randwijck Medical Centre (physiotherapists, pharmacists, psychologists, lab technicians and dieticians), we are ready to offer you, the student, the best care that suits your needs and wishes.

Where can you go as a student?

STI test at GGD Amsterdam

You can get and transmit an STI through sex. Even if you or your sex partner have no symptoms. So stay alert and do an STI test if you think you have an STI.

GGD Amsterdam is available to residents of Amstelveen. An appointment can be made by filling in the form on the website.

New telephone accessibility

Dear sir or madam,

You may have heard in the news that GP care is increasing and staffing levels are decreasing. As a result, our assistants are very busy. We therefore have to make choices to continue providing good care.

From Tuesday 22 April 2025, we will be otherwise available by phone. You can call us between 08:00 and 12:00 and between 13:00 and 15:00.

Is there urgent? Then you can call us as always between 08:00 and 17:00. Then choose option 1 in the menu.

We hope for your understanding.

Sincerely,
The team at GP practice Randwijck
